FTP server, a preferred method of data transfer for large and medium files, with the automated FTP script presents a user friendly interface with additional help files, or use the AceFTP link to download a free FTP client. The FTP account setup for the latter method is manual and would be better suited for a more advanced user.
Please note the FTP servers are not checked for incoming Data files, unless a covering email is received alerting us to the uploaded data. Or if you choose you can phone to confirm the data has been collected from the server.
Automated responses are in place for Data@printech.org and Plotting@pcll.co.uk. email accounts This will be sent by the account when your email has been received, if this is not the case, or you require an alternative method of confirmation of receipt of data, this can be arranged on an individual basis.
Revision control on
data can be difficult if sending quoting data then manufacturing data then
possibly revised manufacturing data, if this is the case a communication to
Printech in whatever form would be beneficial to all parties
